Exciting Developments
On January 1, 2012, our firm will begin a new chapter of its history.
Maurice Green will be withdrawing from the partnership to practice as a neutral arbitrator and mediator. Though he will no longer be working in our office, we hope to continue to regularly cross paths with Maurice. Stay tuned for more, as Maurice will be sending out details in his own announcement shortly.
Barrie Chercover will also be withdrawing from the partnership, but we are delighted that he will be staying on as counsel to the firm and continuing to provide the high level of service that his clients have relied on for decades.
New name⦠Same Commitment to Excellence
Maurice and Barrie began practicing as partners in 1989. But each of their careers goes back over 40 years to the beginning of union-side labour law as a dedicated practice.
Their commitment to serving unions, associations and workers has remained key to our success. Our mission as a firm is to take that dedication forward.
These developments will not change our commitment to you or the way we work with you. You will continue to receive the same level of excellent legal services you have come to expect of us.
Our name, however, will change. From January 1, 2012, we will practice under a new and exciting name: Ursel Phillips Fellows Hopkinson LLP.
Our pledge is to continue to provide the best possible advice and representation to unions, associations and workers and maintain the best traditions of this firm in the years ahead.
