
Green & Chercover offers a unique articling experience, involving a rotation with the CAW Canada legal department. Students spend half the articling term at the firm gaining experience in private practice, and the other half at the CAW working directly for a union that represents a wide variety of workers.

Students are involved in files at all stages, including initial advice, interviews and meetings with clients, legal research, determining litigation strategy, drafting, and attendance at hearings and in court.

We have a demonstrated belief in the dignity of all forms of labour across all sectors and we strive to have our workplace reflect that belief. Our office features a significant collection of works by Vincenzo Pietropaolo, noted documentary photographer of workers and the labour movement.
Applicants should have a keen desire to advocate on behalf of unions and employees, a demonstrated interest in labour, employment, and administrative law, and the flexibility to work on novel problems in a wide variety of legal areas. They should have good legal research, writing, and analytical skills, and be self-motivated.
