Carlo Di Giovanni
Carlo Di Giovanni was called to the Bar in July 2003, after articling at another Toronto union-side labour law firm and obtaining his Bachelor of Laws degree from Queen's University.
Carlo practices in all areas of labour relations, and regularly appears before boards of arbitration and government boards, commissions and tribunals, as well as in court. Carlo has a particular interest in union certification drives, and has participated in applications at the Ontario Labour Relations Board and the Canada Industrial Relations Board that have resulted in thousands of new members for his clients.
Carlo also practices in the specialized area of construction industry labour law, drawing on the valuable experience he gained in a local trade union's in-house legal department, where he worked for two and a half years prior to joining Green & Chercover.
Prior to law school, Carlo studied History and English Literature at the University of Toronto, obtaining an Honours BA in 1996. He then spent a term studying in Tuscany and worked for two years in the education field, leading Canadian students on tours of Italy.
