Andrea Wobick practices labour and employment law and civil litigation for trade unions, associations and individual employees. Andrea regularly provides legal advice to her union and association clients on a variety of matters and appears before labour arbitrators, a variety of administrative tribunals and the courts. Andrea also represents individual employees and provides advice on matters involving employment contracts, severance packages, wrongful dismissals, professional discipline, human rights issues, harassment and bullying in the workplace and pension issues.

Andrea attended law school at the University of Ottawa after completing her Bachelor of Arts at the University of Victoria. She joined the firm in 2005. Prior to joining the firm, Andrea worked for the Department of Justice at the Policy Centre for Victims Issues performing policy work and legislative reform. She then interned with the Kenya Human Rights Commission in Kenya, where she did research, writing and advocacy work. In 2007/2008, Andrea spent six months working for the Tanzania Legal and Human Rights Centre in Tanzania doing research, writing, editing, advocacy and training for legal aid clinic staff members.

Andrea is currently on the Executive of the Ontario Bar Association’s Labour and Employment Section. She is also a member of the Advocate’s Society, Canadian Association of Labour Lawyers (CALL) and the Women’s Legal Education and Action Fund (LEAF).
