Jennifer practises primarily in the area of criminal law with a special concentration on representing union members charged with criminal offences in the workplace. She also practices in all areas of labour, human rights, and professional discipline.

Jennifer obtained her Juris Doctor at Osgoode Hall Law School in 2009 and then joined the firm after participating in the joint articling program with the Canadian Auto Workers Union (CAW). During her time at law school Jennifer was a Division Leader at CLASP, the student-run legal clinic, where she represented members of the community in criminal, civil and, human rights matters. Jennifer was an avid mooter, Vice President of the Debate Society, and a member of the Women's Caucus. She was also a student government representative who advocated for the rights of law students, and Osgoode members of CUPE 3903, during the 2008/2009 York University Strike.

Prior to attending law school Jennifer obtained her B.A. in Liberal Studies from York University. She was able to put herself through school by working as member of CAW Local 1000 for over 5 years.
