Tony Jones is an associate with Ursel Phillips Fellows Hopkinson LLP. He practices labour law on behalf of trade unions and associations, human rights law, employment law and civil litigation.

Tony had the privilege of working for EGALE on the case of Canadian Blood Services/Société Canadienne du Sang v. Freeman, 2010 ONSC 4885, which challenged the Canadian Blood Services policy of banning gay men from donating blood.

Tony earned his law degree from Queen's University and studied Political Science at the University of Alberta, earning a BA (Hons.). During university he wrote a thesis on "New Social Movements & Same-Sex Marriage" and spent a term studying Neapolitan Art, Language & Culture near Naples, Italy.

Since a young age, Tony has been an active member and volunteer in various private and public sector unions in both Ontario and Alberta. A political junkie and devoted fan of uphill battles, he has worked for various progressive politicians and causes throughout Ontario and Alberta.
